More drywall, and rough HVAC done

Jeff finished hanging drywall today and started putting in corner bead. Jon is still taping and mudding.

Rough HVAC is done too. The AC condensor isn't set yet, but all the ductwork is in and the furnace and coil are installed.

Friday we expect the J-trim at the peak of the garage to be fixed, rocking and taping to continue, and ceiling insulation to be blown in. We will also be filing a draw so that we have cash to pay Jon when he's done next week.

We went to Menards to pick up some black shutters to go on either side of the front bedroom window to add a little color. Paul installed them this afternoon.

Finally, we were informed the countertops were in at Menards, ahead of the cabinets. :) Hope they fit. Also, tonight we went to buy our base molding and casings because they were on sale for a very low price (34c/foot.) $500 for the whole shebang, good deal. We think we will install them ourselves, if we can figure out where the miter saw is. We got primed colonial, real wood. They should be nice. Kathy wants crown molding in a couple rooms too, but the sale price on that isn't that great right now so we'll let that go for a little while.

So, here are pictures. Enjoy!

Here's Jon, taping in the dining room while Katie watches.

These are the shutters we added today. We think they look nice.
