In other news, we were surprised by the appearance of the HVAC installers today. They were supposed to be doing another job in the neighborhood but the basement was flooded so they stopped by us. Unfortunately we didn't have the HVAC plan (where the ductwork would run) onsite so they just carried and unboxed all the materials into the basement. They had us leave the plan by the furnace and maybe they'd start work Wednesday. That could only be a good thing. We had never received any copy of the HVAC mechanical plan so Paul got the electronic file from President Homes and took it to Kinko's for a printout.
Also showing up was the electrician, who installed the switch boxes for the fireplace. It figures - he was ten minutes too late. The drywaller had just finished closing up the fireplace. So that just made the electrician's job a little harder, and he had to install old-work boxes for the switches.
In other news we will be filing the draw soon, depending on how fast we can get the gutter and drywall bills. This will be the third draw of four.
