Nobody is on site today. Paul isn't leaving the house and the framers are off doing other things today.
First thing Monday morning we'll meet Shawn on site to go over everything, and they'll install the windows and doors that day. Then they'll be done.
We found out from Bob that the reason they wouldn't have the roofing and siding materials onsite until Thursday is because that's the soonest they could get adequate supplies of silver soffit and fascia material. We elected to change it out for white soffits and fascia instead, which they had in stock and could deliver Tuesday. So that puts us back on schedule, and actually the contrasting colors should look nice.
The roofer will be shingling on Wednesday and starting siding after that. The flatwork will be done a week from Monday, that's June 25. We need to get the plumber in there sometime before then and the plumbing inspected. Rich from Midwest Plumbing hasn't returned our calls yet. Paul left him another message today. We'll expect to hear from him on Monday.
That leaves the electrician. We don't know whether to schedule him before or after the flatwork. We'll call him today to find out.
And that's all for this week. But that was enough. Lots of good work done. We're pleased.
