Now we've finally caught the blog up to the work. This was the day they took the forms away to expose our foundation walls. This is the beginning of the endgame, there's nothing left to do but tar-spray the outsides for damp-proofing, install insulation on the outside and finish laying the stone on the outside for draining.
Look at these beautiful walls. :)
The last photo is the garage foundation. It's only 5 feet deep, and soon it will covered over by the garage floor. Once that happens, those walls will never be seen again.
Now we get a little break. Backfill is scheduled for May 30.
